Located atop a high-rise in Mt. Washington, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is known for its seafood and 360-degree panoramic views of Pittsburgh’s skyline and rivers. Franjo Construction completed an 8,700 SF renovation in 2015, reimagining the restaurant’s interior while preserving the dining experience that has made it a local destination.

The redesign introduced multiple levels and balconies, creating a new layout that gives every seat a view of the city’s iconic panorama. Completing the renovation within a six-week schedule required careful coordination to transform the space while meeting the project’s timeline.
