The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) provides wastewater treatment services to 83 communities throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, including the City of Pittsburgh. Franjo Construction completed the 20,000 GSF Customer Service & Training Center, creating a modern facility that supports both customer service operations and employee training.

Sustainability is integrated throughout the facility, with energy-efficient building systems, lighting, a 4,000-gallon rainwater collection tank, on-site stormwater management, and a green parking area. These features were incorporated to improve environmental performance while supporting the building’s day-to-day operations.

Achieving LEED Gold certification, the Customer Service & Training Center reflects ALCOSAN’s commitment to sustainable development and efficient public infrastructure. Franjo Construction managed the construction process with careful coordination and attention to detail, delivering a high-performance municipal facility built to support long-term operations and community service.
