ASCEND Pittsburgh is an indoor rock-climbing and fitness facility located in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood. Franjo Construction completed the renovation project to create a large-scale recreational space designed to support climbing, fitness, and community-oriented programming.

The 27,000 square foot facility includes 20 climbing stations equipped with auto-belays and top-rope systems, along with yoga and fitness studio areas. Additional amenities include onsite childcare, locker rooms, showers, concessions, and flexible spaces for relaxation, studying, and gathering.

Completed over a five-month construction schedule, the project reflects Franjo Construction’s experience delivering specialized recreational environments designed to support both athletic activity and community engagement.
