A historic industrial building, originally constructed in 1865, was converted into Otto Milk Condos, an 89,904 SF adaptive-reuse development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, delivered for developer Solara Ventures as a 59-unit condominium project.

The existing structure was reconfigured for residential use, requiring full interior reconstruction, structural modifications, and integration of new building systems to support multifamily occupancy within the historic framework. Franjo Construction performed the adaptive reuse work within the constraints of the original building, maintaining key structural elements while supporting modern residential layouts.

The building was adapted to accommodate contemporary residential programming while preserving the limitations and character of the original industrial structure, requiring coordinated execution of interior construction and system upgrades within a dense urban footprint.
