Uber ATG – The Crucible Building
Originally constructed as a steel mill, the Crucible Building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was redeveloped into a Class A office space for Uber Advanced Technology Group (ATG), transforming the industrial structure into a modern workplace environment.
Franjo Construction completed the 100,000 SF conversion, maintaining key elements of the existing industrial structure while preparing the building for new office use. The project required extensive interior demolition and reconstruction to support upgraded building systems and modern workplace requirements.
Designed by NEXT Architecture, the project reflects the broader redevelopment of former industrial assets across Pittsburgh’s urban core, repositioning legacy structures for contemporary commercial use.
